Presently, I use 2 Canon Digital SLR cameras.  One is the EOS450D a 12.2 megapixel camera, and the other is the 7D Mk2 an 18.8 megapixel which can operate at up to 8 frames per second. I have at my disposal a quantity of varying lenses and digital polarizers.
All my images are taken in high resolution and printed on quality papers. Any number of photographic finishes are available from matte and gloss through to canvas. Printing is done on a 10 color Canon Pro 9500 professional printer. I am able to print up to Super A3+ (13″ x 19″ – 329.0 x 483.0mm). Images can also be modified using sophisticated photographic software.

Do you only photograph weddings?

• No, I am available for commercial and portrait photography also.

How much do you charge?

• I DO NOT charge for a wedding preview, unless you live outside Auckland CBD.  A full list of my printing costs is available on my ORDER FORM page of the Hopes Photography website. There isn’t anything we can’t negotiate…

Apart from finished photographs, do you put your work onto a disc for the client?

• Yes, and you own the copyright.  However, I am permitted to use your images for advertising purposes.

How long do you take to finish the photographs and get them to the client?

• Most images require some finishing work on my computer even if this only involves cropping. Depending on the number of images and the work involved I can usually deliver your completed images in around 7 days.

Why do you do your own printing?

• To ensure my work and your images are printed on the highest quality papers, and completed in the best finish possible, just as my work is a reflection of you, your images are a reflection of me.
